Tragedy as body found in search for missing County Durham woman
A body has been found in the search for a missing County Durham woman, police have sadly confirmed.
Officers from Durham Constabulary searching for 49-year-old Tracy Clark, from Stanley, have shared on their social media channels that a body has been found. Although the body has not yet been formally identified, Tracy's family have been informed.
The force said that Tracy's death is not being treated as suspicious.

A statement issued by Durham Constabulary on their Facebook page on Wednesday (August 21) said: "We are so sorry to report that officers searching for missing Stanley woman, Tracy, have found a body.
"Formal identification has yet to take place, but the family of the 49-year-old have been informed. Our thoughts are with them all at this difficult time.
"Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
