Tragedy as driver dies following A470 crash involving car and lorry

A driver has died following a crash on the A470. Dyfed-Powys Police said emergency services were called to a report of a two-vehicle crash between Llanidloes and Llandinam at around 10.30pm on Sunday, January 26.

The crash involved a white Hyundai i10 and a white lorry. The driver of the Hyundai died at the scene and their next of kin has been informed, police confirmed.

The road reopened at around 1.20pm today. Police are now appealing for anyone with information, dash cam or CCTV footage, that could help them with their investigation.
