Tragedy as man, 40, dies following A15 collision

A man has tragically died following a collision on the A15 on Monday night.

Emergency services were called to the A15 southbound near the junction of Bonby Lodge at around 10.50pm, following reports of a collision between two vehicles and a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a man aged 40, sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene. His family are being supported by specially trained officers at this difficult time.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "We are appealing for anyone who may have been in the area at the time, or has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquiries to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 638 of 6 May.
