Tragedy as mum who 'lived for her boys' dies suddenly on Egypt holiday
A mother who "lived for her boys" tragically passed away while on holiday in Egypt.
Liz Boardman, a mum-of-four, died unexpectedly in the early hours of Monday, November 11. Liz, who had recently celebrated her 40th birthday in August, was known for her humour and kindness.
Her body was flown back home on Friday, November 15, with her family awaiting the cause of death. Her friend Michelle Lowe who worked alongside Liz - originally from Bolton - has set up a GoFundMe page to assist with funeral expenses and "to help the boys as much as possible at this extremely sad and difficult time."

Paying tribute to Liz, Michelle, 38, from Anfield told the ECHO: "Liz was one of the funniest of people I had ever met in my life. She was a great storyteller. Liz was just a really fun person and she did live for them boys."
"It's been shock, I don't think it has hit me and it won't until I see her. Liz was very kind and was as a support worker through work. The service users all loved her."
Writing on the GoFundMe page, Michelle added: "This page is to help raise funds for funeral expenses, grave stone and to help the boys as much as possible at this extremely sad and difficult time. Liz was full of life and lived for her boys, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for taking the time to read as this has been very difficult to write."
A Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office spokesperson said: "We are supporting the family of a British woman who died in Egypt." To donate to the GoFundMe page, please click here.
