Tragedy as teenage driver killed in crash after car 'veers off road' near Wishaw Golf Club
A teenage man tragically died after a fatal crash near a golf club in Sutton Coldfield, police have confirmed. The 19-year-old was the driver of the vehicle when it "left the road" near the Wishaw Golf Club.
Three others were in the car at the time, but were not seriously injured. The incident took place on Bulls Lane at around 11.15am on Tuesday, January 28.
Police are now supporting the family of the teenager as they try to find out what happened. West Midlands Police has launched an appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Anyone with dashcam footage, CCTV or who was in the area at the time has been urged to contact the force. The full police appeal read: "A man has sadly died following a collision in Sutton Coldfield. We were called to Bulls Lane around 11.15am yesterday (28 January).
"The man, aged 19, was driving a car which had left the road near Wishaw Golf Club. Three others who were in the vehicle were not seriously injured.
"We’re supporting the man’s family during this difficult time as we try to establish exactly what happened. We’re appealing for witnesses and for anyone who may have CCTV, or dashcam footage, from around the area to come forward.
