Tragedy as teenager dies at TeamSport Go Karting Stoke
A teenager has died at a Stoke-on-Trent leisure attraction. Police are not treating the death of the youth as suspicious.
Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service had been called to TeamSport Go Karting Stoke last night. The alarm was raised at 8.15pm and police remained at the centre - on Waterloo Road, in Burslem - into the early hours of today.
TeamSport Go Karting Stoke has today refused to comment on the nature of last night's tragedy. The centre is open for business as usual today.

But a police spokesman said: "We were called to TeamSport Go Karting Stoke following reports of a cardiac arrest. Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service were already there and found a man in his late teens unresponsive at the scene. Sadly, he was later pronounced dead. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for HM Coroner. Our thoughts remain with the man’s family at this difficult time."
