A bear’s nighttime chase after a coyote was captured by a trailcam in South Lake Tahoe, California, on May 27.

The footage, captured by nature enthusiast Toogee Sielsch, shows the coyote sitting peacefully in the dark before hurriedly making tracks as a bear bursts into view.

Sharing the footage to Instagram, Sielsch jokingly wrote “Wile E Coyote.., meet Acme, a juvenile Tahoe black bear. Lol!”
