Train Carriages Loaded With Tanks Seen at Station in Voronezh, Russia

A number of tanks, some on train carriages, could be seen at a railway station in Voronezh, Russia, in video posted to TikTok on February 13.

Voronezh is approximately 175 km (108 miles) from the Ukrainian border.

On February 13, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said Russia did not respond to a request to explain the troop buildup near the country’s borders and called for a meeting with Russia to discuss the escalating tensions.

On February 14, Vladimir Putin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov, said the situation would improve if Ukraine refused to join NATO.
