Railway workers are striking in July and August in a dispute over pay and working conditions.Members of both the RMT and ASLEF unions will walk out over the coming weeks, following industrial action in June.RMT general secretary Mick Lynch said that “this dispute will not simply vanish,” and urged the rail industry and the government to “get serious about providing an offer on pay which helps deal with the cost-of-living crisis, job security for our members and provides good conditions at work.”
