The Traitors airs shock murder twist after Armani banishment
The Traitors season 3 spoilers follow.
The Traitors aired a surprising murder after Armani Gouveia's true identity was revealed, whilst the remaining Traitors have attempted to recruit one more person.
In tonight's (January 8) episode, the two Traitors — Linda Rands and Minah Shannon — opted to kill Armani's sister Maia. Maia was instrumental in banishing his sister in last night's vote, making Armani the first eliminated Traitor of this season.
The Traitors may be short of one player, but they were as ruthless as ever as they decided who to kill between Maia, Charlotte Berman and Freddie Fraser.

"Nobody can be linked to murdering Maia," Minah told Linda in the Traitors' turret.
"Wouldn't it be interesting to get rid of two sisters in one day?" she added, to Linda's delight.
The next morning, Maia woke up to a letter informing her she'd been killed overnight.
"They banished my sister, and now they're killing me," she said, pointing her finger at Freddie.
Later in the game, the remaining contestants were in for yet another twist – they were reunited with the three players who got off the train to the Highlands earlier in the season.
Alexander Dragonetti, Fozia Fazil and Jack Marriner-Brown were eliminated before the game even started, but they were offered a second chance thanks to the help of the cast.
The trio were held in separate, suspended cages in the woods, with the players having to collect gold coins and choose whose cage to lower. The gang were able to add £6,500 to the final prize, stacking coins to free Fozia and Alexander, whilst Jack had to go home — for good this time.
The Faithful may have gained two more players, but Traitors Linda and Minah were less than impressed.
"I was blown away, it was such a shock," Linda told producers, while Minah joked: "I'm trying to kill them and Claudia's adding more in, undoing my work."
Having only just joined officially, Fozia and Alexander were excluded from casting their vote at the Round Table later that night.
In an emotional decision, Kasim Ahmed got banished from the castle, shocking his fellow Faithfuls when he revealed he'd been one of them all along.

As tension grew in the castle, newcomers Fozia and Alexander secretly gave their shields to two players of their choice, who would then be protected from being murdered that night.
Fozia chose Leanne Quigley, while Alexander told Dan Bird, Tyler Smith and Minah that one of them would get his shield, though he didn't disclose which one to the other two.
It was Dan's idea to share a secret with Tyler and Minah so that they could back one another at the next vote, though he didn't know that she was a Traitor.
At night, host Claudia Winkleman summoned Minah, who had been given the shield, and Linda and asked them if they wanted to recruit one more Traitor.
They wrote which Faithful they intended to seduce, with Fozia, Anna and Freddie being shortlisted.
Will the selected Faithful join the dark side?
The Traitors airs on BBC One and streams on BBC iPlayer.
