The Traitors season three return date confirmed by BBC with new trailer
A release date for series three of The Traitors has today been announced. The series will see a new group of strangers taking on a series of challenges while looking out for backstabbing and holding suspicions, in order to stay in the competition and be in with a chance to win the contest.
Hidden among the players are the Traitors, whose job is to secretly "murder" a player every night, without getting caught. Fans can watch the new series of the BBC show on New Year's Day as the new contestants begin their mission to reach the final in the hope of winning up to £120,000.

A new trailer has been released by BBC on YouTube as they tease what is to be expected in the newest series of the show. The clip shows three cloaked figures walking through the castle grounds at night while holding lanterns before a firework explodes in the sky to form the show’s logo.
The first two episodes of the new series will air at 8pm on BBC One and iPlayer, while the rest will air at 9pm. New instalments will be released on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.
The Official visualised podcast The Traitors: Uncloaked, hosted by stand up comedian and presenter Ed Gamble, returns and will be available directly after every episode of the main show on BBC Two and iPlayer. An extended version with additional guests, further theories and essential analysis will be available on BBC Sounds.
