Transfer news, rumours LIVE: Latest on Andy Carroll to Chelsea, Alexis Sanchez makes Manchester United demands, Aubameyang to Arsenal in huge deal
Welcome to the London Evening Standard’s LIVE coverage of the winter transfer window.
The main saga of the window is the battle to sign Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez, with Manchester United now seemingly ahead of Manchester City in the race for the Chile international.
Arsenal are readying a huge offer of £35million plus Olivier Giroud for Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, and there could yet be more action at the Emirates.
Arsenal could get Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the Alexis Sanchez deal - but are also interested in Anthony Martial - while a move Bordeaux star Malcom have also been mooted.
So far, Barcelona have completed the signing of Philippe Coutinho for a whopping £146m after Liverpool made a huge, early move of their own with the £75m signing of Virgil van Dijk from Southampton.
Arsene Wenger has signed Greek defender Konstantinos Mavropanos and confirmed Valencia have signed Francis Coquelin, while Chelsea sealed a £15m deal for Ross Barkley last week.
