Translink statement as woman taken to hospital following crash between bus and car

A woman has been taken to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a bus on Monday morning. It happened in the Railway Road area of Coleraine.

Police told Belfast Live that they received and responded to a report of a two vehicle road traffic collision, involving a bus and a car, shortly after 10am today, Monday June 3, in the Railway Road area of Coleraine.

"Colleagues from the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service also attended, and the female driver of the car was taken to hospital as a precaution," a spokesperson added.

A spokesperson for Translink said: "We can confirm an incident occurred involving a bus at Railway Place in Coleraine this morning.

“A Translink investigation is underway, and we will also assist the PSNI with their investigations into the incident.’’
