Trapped Deer Rescued From Spillway at Tennessee Lake

A deer was rescued after ending up stranded in a spillway at Lake Woodhaven in Dickson, Tennessee, on June 28, the local fire department said.

Video posted on Facebook by the City of Dickson Fire Department shows a doe being pulled out of deep water with a rope and guided out of the spillway up a makeshift ramp.

According to the fire department, the deer “walked away and returned to her baby who was waiting nearby.”
