Trash piles up in Paris as garbage collectors protest pension reform
Among those protesting pensions reform in France, Paris garbage collectors have attracted particular attention. Rubbish is clogging up the streets of the French capital as unions make an eleventh-hour bid to stop the deeply unpopular reform from becoming law. Garbage collectors, whose working conditions are particularly tough, refuse to remain on the job for an extra two years.
