Travel Advisory Issued in British Columbia Due to More Heavy Snow

Commuters in British Columbia were warned to be vigilant on January 16 as winter storms continued to dump heavy snow across the area, local media reported.

The Cranbrook Daily Townsman said forecasters warned of “heavy bursts of snow." Up to 40 centimeters (15 inches) of additional snow was expected.

“The Ministry of Transportation issued a warning for commuters to use extra caution when driving in the changing conditions,” it added.
