Tree Lays Across Power Lines Following Severe Weather in Mississippi

Clean up efforts continued in central Mississippi on May 5, a day after severe thunderstorms hit the area, according to the National Weather Service.

More than 91,000 people in central Mississippi experienced power outages caused by the storms on Tuesday, local media reported.

Trees and power lines were downed across the region, according to local reports.

This footage was shared by the East Mississippi Electric Power Association who said it was filmed on Long Creek Road in Lauderdale County.
