Tremors of 6.8-Magnitude Earthquake Felt in Mexico City

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck in Michoacan, west Mexico, in the early hours of Thursday, September 22, the United States Geological Survey said, with tremors felt as far away as Mexico City.

The quake came days after a damaging one of 7.6 magnitude on September 19, an infamous date in Mexico given its coincidence with deadly earthquakes in 1985 and 2017.
