Tributes to two former teachers and a much-loved Boro fan are among those being paid in The Gazette this week.

Yvonne Bain

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved mam, nana and great-grandmother Yvonne Bain, aged 73. Yvonne passed away peacefully at home with her son and daughter by her side, as she wanted. Yvonne will always be remembered for her kindness and care for those she loved, including her husband Kevin, loving family, friends, and neighbours. Peacefully in hospital on 2nd November, Eileen aged 78 years. Much loved daughter of the late Sydney and Eileen Bonsor, dearly loved sister of David, beloved niece of Isabel (Bunty). Heather Margaret Coates

Passed away peacefully after a short illness on 9th November. Heather aged 60 years. Beloved daughter of Joan and the late Leo. A much loved niece, cousin and a good friend to many. Sadly passed away on 2nd November after a short illness surrounded by his sisters. John aged 54 years. Much loved brother, cousin, uncle and great-uncle. Marie Evans

(nee Finlay) Peacefully on November 8th, surrounded by her loving family, aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Maurice, much loved mam of Rosemary and Janet, dear mother-in-law of Harry and the late Glen, treasured gran and great-grannie Marie and a dearly loved twin sister of Bobby. (Jack) After a brave battle, passed away at home on 4th November, aged 89 years. Devoted husband to June, much loved dad, grandad, great-grandad, uncle and in-law. Friend to many, missed by all. Patricia Halcrow

(Nee Balls) Pat died peacefully with her family - daughter Sue and grandson Sean at her bedside at home. She had struggled with mobility and health issues for many years eventually succumbing to worsening medical problems over the last three weeks of her life. She is now at peace and no longer suffering pain physically and recently mentally with Alzheimer's disease. She leaves behind her close family, daughter Sue, grandson Sean and his wife Katherine and great-grandson Jackson. Also, leaving her sister Cath and brother Paul, and numerous family and friends all with fond memories of happy times. Stanley Laidlow

(Stan) Passed away peacefully after a time of ill health in hospital. Stan, aged 92 years. He has been promoted to glory and is now back with his late wife. He will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Ann Lowe

Passed away at Guisborough Manor Care Home on the 1st November, after a long battle with dementia, aged 77 years. Ann was loved dearly by many, but leaves behind her beloved husband Alan, three daughters Angela, Sharon & Sarah, two sons Neal & Paul, sister Elizabeth and seven beautiful grandchildren. We will be celebrating her fulfilled life at Kirkleatham Crematorium on Monday 18th November at 3pm prior to cremation. All family and friends are welcome to come and share many loving memories.

Unexpectedly but peacefully 23rd October in Greece. Beloved son of the late Ann and Brian McBride, much loved brother, nephew, godson, cousin, friend.
