Tributes paid as 'incredible dad' passes away at just 42 years old

Tributes have been paid to an "incredible dad" who passed away at just 42 years old. Dave Trestain is described as a "treasured" son, brother, and uncle, as well as a "friend to many".

Dave, husband of Jay, leaves behind his daughter, Dora, after a battle with cancer. In 2018, he completed a charity cycle, the Tour de Moor, to raise money for St Luke’s Hospice Plymouth after undergoing surgery.

Now Dave, from Padstow, has sadly passed away, and a celebration of Dave's life will be held at The Trelawny Chapel at the Penmount Crematorium in Truro on Wednesday, June 26. Guests are asked to wear "what you feel comfortable in – flip flops were Dave’s favourites!"
