Tributes paid to 'one in a million' Scots pensioner as police probe death at Hamilton home
Tributes have been paid to a Scots pensioner who died in "unexplained" circumstances at a house in Hamilton.
Susan Sergison, 78, was found by police after they were called to a property on Gilmour Drive in the South Lanarkshire town on January 15.
Her death is being treated as unexplained.

Police said a 49-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with an assault.
Dozens of friends took to social media to pay tribute to the pensioner who was described as "one in a million. Former colleagues told how Susan took them under her wing at work.
Angela Warnock said: "Susan was the nicest, most caring and loving person you could meet.
"She was my wee work mum. She always looked out for me and gave me great advice. She was loved and will be missed."
Charles Mitchell said: "You were a fantastic friend to me. This is horrible news."
Ann Miller added: "I am absolutely shocked and gutted. I worked alongside Susan for many years. Rest easy."
Lisa Irvine said: "I will miss our coffee catch ups. This is so sad. Rest in peace Susan."
So sad RIP Susan, will miss our coffee catch ups. Love to the family."
Susan had lived in the house for several years, and news of her death left local residents in shock.
Forensic teams were seen combing the property on Thursday afternoon. Detectives were also seen in the back garden behind a cordon.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 8.25pm on Wednesday, 15 January, 2025, we were called to a report of a woman seriously injured within a house in Gilmour Drive, Hamilton.
"Emergency services attended and a 78-year-old woman was pronounced dead. The death is being treated as unexplained and a post mortem examination will be carried out.
"Officers remain at the scene and anyone with any concerns can approach these officers. A 49-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with assault. Enquiries are ongoing."
