I tried Aldi's £2 body wash that reminded me of Marks & Spencer's Apothecary collection
I absolutely love Aldi's ability to replicate some of the most luxurious products, and as soon as I spotted a £2 bodywash in store that looked familiar, I knew I had to try it. I absolutely love having baths, so much so, I have them pretty much every single night.
The only issue is, some bubble baths can be pretty pricey, especially if you're wanting some good bubbles to soak in. I've always been a huge fan of Marks & Spencer Apothecary products, but only really use them when I've been gifted them.
I never really think to go to M&S for bubble bath, and usually just opt for cheaper versions that do the job. At around £8.50 for some body wash, it's clear to see why supermarkets like Aldi are offering more affordable versions of luxury body wash - but it is just as good?

I purchased Aldi's Hotel Collection's 'Relax' body wash, in the scent rosemary, lavender, geranium & tonka for £2, that's already proving to be a hit on social media. Sharing the SpecialBuy to its 472k followers on Instagram, the supermarket shared the three new scents to shoppers.
On Instagram, the full caption read: "Revive, Unwind & Relax with our luxurious body washes, now available in 3 scents! And guess what? You can grab the matching hand washes too! In store now for £1.99 each!"
The bottle of body wash itself looked pretty posh and expensive, and because it was quite cheap, I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting it to be anything special. When I poured it into the bath, I was really impressed with the amount of bubbles it created.
In terms of the scent, the body wash was incredibly relaxing, and the lavender aroma was gorgeous. I'm a huge fan of lavender, and this particular body wash wasn't too strong.
The two other scents in the collection include 'Unwind' which is mandarin, cypess, cedarwood and amber and 'Revive' which is cardamom, clove, geranium and neroli. I already can't wait to try them, considering how relaxed I was with this scent.
For the price, I think this Aldi body wash is definitely worth it. It makes you feel like you're having a luxurious pamper bath without the price tag.
Fans in the Instagram comments have already made the comparison to the Marks & Spencer's Apothecary collection. I have to agree, and it's safe to say I'll be sticking to this one now instead of the more expensive alternative.
