We Tried All Of The Different Menu Items From LEON And These Are The Best
We’ve all been there. You’ve got 20 minutes to grab and demolish your lunch. Maccies? You’re trying to be healthy. A meal deal? A soggy sarnie just isn’t going to cut it. Enter: LEON.
While you can pick up their food quickly, it doesn’t have the same feel as other traditional fast-food places might. While picking up a Greggs gives off “hungover” vibes, picking up a Leon gives off “got their life together”.
From their classic wraps and filling boxes, to their newer, seasonal items, here’s our thirteen favourite things you can currently get at LEON.

1) God tier: Baked fries
While chips are supposed to be the side dish, these ones have big main character energy. Plus, they’re baked!
If the shape of these waffle cut fries weren’t enough to make them God Tier, their seasoning is also 10/10. It is not just a salt and pepper job – they are seasoned with Chilli Pepper, Cayenne Pepper, Paprika, Cumin Seed, Turmeric. Phwoar.
Whether you prefer skinny, chunky, or curly, you will like these – it’s not up for debate.

2) God tier: LoVE Burger
We know it sounds cliché, but it really is surprising that this burger is totally plant-based. It’s the kind of beef dupe that even meat fanatics would have to admit is tasty.
However, pretty much anything lathered in the LEON burger sauce (also vegan), would taste thoroughly delicious.

3) Top tier: Chicken Satay Box
Regardless of what it’s on, it’s hard to go wrong with creamy, salty, savoury satay sauce, and the LEON version will not disappoint.
This dish is not complicated: chicken, rice, satay sauce. If you’re up for a simple, flavoursome lunch, this one will tick a whooole lot of boxes.

4) Top tier: Grilled halloumi wrap
LEON is known for its classic wraps, and the halloumi one might be their best ever.
Grilled halloumi is elite in any form, but it’s especially delicious when paired with gherkins, garlic aioli, and mango ketchup. Plus, we love how easy it is to grab on the go. A definite quick lunch-break winner.

5) Top tier: Gluten Free Nuggets
These Gluten Free nugs might have disappeared from the menu for a while but thankfully, they are back, and we can all breathe a sigh of relief.
LEON’s take on a classic nug is A) gluten free, and B) made from real pieces of proper chicken thigh meat, so basically healthy, right? RIGHT?
Pair with the LEON Garlic Aioli or Chilli Sauce for heaven in a bite.

7) Great tier: Chicken Aioli box
If you don’t like garlic aioli, you’re not to be trusted.
This box also has a generous helping of chargrilled chicken pieces and brown rice to soak up all of that creamy aioli, as well as a sprinkling of sumac and pomegranate seeds.
Leon - 9/14
8) Good tier: Jerk N Jam Wrap
The Jerk N Jam Chicken Wrap might not hit quite the same as their halloumi one, but we still wouldn’t turn it down.
The wrap mixes jerk chicken, apricot jam, pickled peppers, and garlic aioli. So, if you’re into jerk chicken, and enjoy throwing random-ish flavours together, then this could be your bag.
But, if you’re a traditional, pineapples-shouldn’t-go-on-pizza kind of thinker, this one might not be for you.
Leon - 10/14
9) Good tier: Moroccan meatless me*tballs
We *love* LEON for trying to create tasty fast-food options for vegans.
The Moroccan Meatless Me*tballs are rich and tomatoey, and very good meatball dupes. However, since we liked the veggie balls so much, we would have preferred a couple more to tuck into!
Leon - 11/14
10) Good tier: Korean Chicken Wrap
This wrap is definitely our type on paper… Sticky, spicy Korean fried chicken is such a treat, but it needs some more mayo plus some salad or slaw to really grab our attention.
Leon - 12/14
11) Good tier: Brazilian Black Bean Box
With sweet and smoked paprika, oregano, mint and parsley, you definitely can’t say this vegan rice and black bean box isn’t well seasoned.
Leon - 14/14
13) Okay tier: Winter Slaw
This item is seasonal, and we think that’s for the best. The best thing about coleslaw is the creamy dressing and crunchy veg combo, but without a classic creamy coleslaw dressing, this winter slaw isn’t going to do it for most people. Although, the edamame beans are a redeeming factor.
