We tried Kourtney Kardashian’s famous ‘avocado pudding’

A big part of keeping up with the Kardashians … is eating like the Kardashians.

Sometimes, that can be a lot harder than it looks. Case in point: Kourtney Kardashian’s famous “avocado pudding,” which, depending on who you are, is either a weird, gross food choice or an incredible way to start the day.

Kourtney’s recipe went viral earlier this year after TikTok star Addison Rae shared a video of the two chowing down on the pudding after a workout. Immediately, social media rushed to copy it.

Is this Kardashian-approved recipe really worth the hype? To find out, In The Know video editor AmiLin McClure set out to make it herself.

How to make Kourtney Kardashian’s ‘avocado pudding’

Because no one lives exactly like a Kardashian, we decided to simplify the recipe a bit. Here’s every ingredient you need, following the recipe by TikTok user delicious_cook.

First, slice up your avocado and add the pieces to the blender, then pour in one cup of milk.

Next, toss in your honey. Some recipes will call for a teaspoon or two, but just eyeball it! This is your breakfast, not Kourtney’s, so make it as sweet as you want.

Finally, rev up that blender and mix it all together. Once it’s fully mixed, pop the top and marvel at your strange, green, gooey pudding.

So, is ‘avocado pudding’ actually good?

If you ask AmiLin, the answer is a definite yes. The mixture is creamy and very avocado-y (is that a word? sure), and you can continue to sweeten the mix with honey until it suits your tastes.

Kourtney has said that “you either love it or you hate it,” and thankfully, AmiLin fell into the former category. Now, does that mean we’ll be eating this every morning for five years like Kourtney? Probably not.

Alright, but is it worth making?

Absolutely. The entire recipe takes about five minutes to make, so it’s the perfect fast, on-the-go breakfast. Also, you can eat it however you want — like a shake or with a spoon, like oatmeal.

On top of all that, it’s obviously very healthy too. So, if you want to get your nutrients with a healthy dose of celebrity gossip, this is a great way to kick off your morning.
