We tried the new Terry's Chocolate Orange Cream Egg and there was a problem with the goo
It's only January but of course the supermarkets are already gearing up for Easter.
And among the many sugary treats hitting the shelves, there's a new kid on the block this year in the form of the Terry's Chocolate Orange Cream Egg.
Giving the traditional Cadbury Creme Egg some competition, it's already been causing quite a stir with dozens of viral social media posts from shoppers spotting them in the likes of Iceland, B&M, Morrisons and the Co-op, where they're selling for around 70p each.

That's a bit cheaper than your Creme Egg, which retails at around 85p for a single egg, but it's smaller too, weighing 34g, as opposed to 40g.
But what do they taste like? And are they really worth all the fuss?
Well I have to say that we do love Cadbury in our house and are all partial to a Creme Egg or three. But we're not reluctant to try other brands and a Terry's Chocolate Orange never fails to disappoint at Christmas.
I'm particularly fond of orange flavoured chocolate, which seems to have become more popular over recent years, with Cadbury Orange Buttons and the like. So I had high hopes that this orange cream egg was going to hit the spot.
Sadly, I knew as soon as I opened it and it split neatly into two showing the firm fondant type centre neatly portioned in each side, that this might not be what I'd had in mind.
Everyone who's had a Creme Egg knows how gooey it is and, while it's not always that easy to eat, it's what gives it that appeal, along with the delicious taste of it of course.
The orange egg has the taste and texture of a firm orange cream you'd find in a box of Christmas chocs and they're usually the ones I leave behind.
My daughter on the other hand, who laps up the festive orange leftovers, was delighted with the Terry's offering - but even she didn't rate it nicer than a Creme Egg.
At least there's plenty of time before Easter to try one for yourself.
