According to Trinity County Sheriff Woody Wallace, the free of charge interactive program is aimed for children between the ages of 10 and 13 who are interested in learning about law enforcement.

“Participants will get a chance to see live demonstrations of various resources that aid the Sheriff’s Office in making this a great and safe county. Camp participants will also be taught CPR and first aid, to help spread lifesaving education that may save a life,” Wallace said.

The camp will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on July 8 – July 12.

Parents can register their children for the Junior Deputy Program through the link.
