The trio of Cheshire restaurants recognised in 2024 Good Food Awards
Three Cheshire restaurants have been recognised at the annual Good Food Awards. The awards - which first started in 2002 - reward eateries across the country for their food quality, service and value.
The county's trio of restaurants given the seal of approval in this year's awards are Telford's Warehouse in Chester, Chows Eating House in Parkgate and Widnes-based Spice of India. All three venues landed the Blue Ribbon award.
This accolade is given to venues with high customer ratings and votes. Telford’s Warehouse has been a mainstay of the city's hospitality scene for over 30 years.

The independently-run bar and restaurant is also renowned as a live music and arts venue. Parkgate's Chows Eating House has been serving families for decades.
The restaurant posted on its Facebook page: "Wow we are over the moon to announce our amazing Chows Eating House - ‘the mother ship’ - has won a fabulous Good Food Awards. Thank you to all who voted, our amazing loyal customers, followers and our dedicated team, we are blown away. Things like this make all our efforts worth while."
Picking up a prize for the second year running was Spice of India in Widnes. The restaurant thanked its customers on social media for their "love and support", adding: "Please continue to support us."
