Trooper Rescues Driver From Burning Vehicle After Freeway Crash in Detroit Suburb

A trooper rescued a 56-year-old man from a vehicle that ignited during a freeway crash in suburban Detroit on Tuesday, November 17, according to the Michigan State Police.

The man was driving in Plymouth, Michigan, with his five-year-old grandson when his car crashed due to “traveling too fast for conditions on icy roads,” the police reported. The driver was hospitalized and was in stable condition on Tuesday. The boy received minor injuries.
