Tropical Depression Nicole Leaves Path of Destruction in Florida's Volusia County

Footage filmed on November 10, shows the extent of the destruction wrought by Tropical Depression Nicole in Florida’s Volusia County.

This footage, filmed by Roger Labrie, shows flooded roads in the community of Wilbur-By-The-Sea, as well as partially collapsed buildings along a beach front.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Nicole weakened to a depression late on Thursday night, continuing to bring heavy rain to southeastern parts of the United States.

Volusia County Emergency Management said nearly 35,000 Volusia County homes and businesses were without power on Thursday morning.

County officials declared a curfew from 11:22 am on Thursday through 7 am on Friday, and the sheriff’s office closed most bridges to the shoreline “until further notice”. Credit: Roger Labrie via Storyful
