Tropical Storm Henri Brings Rough Seas to Rhode Island's Shore

Tropical Storm Henri brought rough seas to the Rhode Island shore near Point Judith as it approached landfall on the northeast coast of the United States on August 22.

The National Weather Service reported large waves as high as 19.4 feet (nearly 6 metres) off the coast of Rhode Island.

Henri was downgraded from a hurricane to a tropical storm in the morning hours of August 22 as it approached landfall in eastern Long Island and southern New England.
