Tropical Storm Irma batters Florida, heading north to Georgia and South Carolina

Tropical Storm Irma is heading toward Georgia and South Carolina after leaving a path of destruction across Florida. Torrential rains, heavy winds and high storm surges battered the state and over 6 million people are left without power. The storm has killed at least 36 people in the Caribbean and at least 7 in the U.S.
