Truck of Family Swept Away by Deadly Arizona Flood Hauled to Dry Land

The bodies of two children, a boy and a girl, were recovered from the swollen Tonto Creek in Arizona on November 30, after the truck they and a number of others were travelling in was swept away by floods on November 29.

A third child, a six-year-old girl, remained missing on December 1, local reports said. Two adults and a number of other children were rescued nearby on November 29.

This video shows the recovery of the heavy-duty military-style vehicle used by the children’s family. Fox 10 Phoenix reported that the two children killed were from an extended family, the son and niece of the couple who were driving the vehicle and who were in the area for Thanksgiving.
