From Digital Spy

True Love or True Lies? first arrived to our screens in early August, and it didn't take too long for reality TV fanatics to get hooked.

Thanks to its winning format, gut-busting commentary (cheers, Mr Dyer) and the inclusion of all different kinds of relationships, viewers are already looking ahead to the second series.

And after such a successful first run, MTV has had zero hesitations in announcing that new applications are now being considered.

The winning couple of series one was announced in the final on August 18, and here's everything you need to know ahead of series two.

True Love or True Lies series 2: will it come back?

True Love or True Lies series 2: who will present?

Maya Jama fronted the show for its debut, and we have every reason to believe that she'll be back for series 2.

True Love or True Lies series 2: will Danny Dyer be the voiceover?

We sure as hell hope so. Just like Marcus Bentley (Big Brother) and Iain Stirling (Love Island) before him, we couldn't really imagine the show without his cockney brilliance.

True Love or True Lies series 2: when is it on?

The most recent series aired every night (except Saturdays) at 9pm on MTV.

True Love or True Lies: what's it about?

As narrator Danny Dyer so eloquently put it during episode one of the first series, the couples originally thought that they'd signed up for a "bollocky game of love" but, not long after entering the True Love or True Lies? mansion, host Maya Jama revealed that there were liars amongst them.

It was then up to each of the couples (and viewers playing along at home) to decipher who was 'real' and who was 'fake'. During a Love Ceremony at the end of each night, every couple must vote for who they think is pulling the wool over everyone's eyes, and the pairing with the most votes is sent home - but not before revealing whether they're lovers or liars.

True Love or True Lies: is there a big twist?

Series one served up a number of shock reveals, sexuality twists and, er, more sexuality lies. But the BIG twist came just before the final, when each of the dumped couples returned to the mansion to crown a winner.

It remains to be seen whether this format will be repeated in series two, but we're in the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" camp.

True Love or True Lies? airs on MTV.
