TSB customers 'appalled' after spotting missing payments in bank account
TSB customers have hit out at an "appalling" glitch which has seen their payments NOT land in bank accounts today. TSB, which is one of the biggest banks in the country, has warned customers over payments not appearing in bank accounts on Tuesday September 25.
Taking to social media to fume over the issue, one X user said: "I just switched to @TSB and already having issues! I’ll be switching right back to another account as soon as they pay my switch bonus!! Shambles of a bank!"
Another said: "Same here! It happens way too often with @TSB. Meant to be paying for my son’s communication app today. Fingers crossed it’s in our account soon." Another frustrated user said: “Any update on when this will be fixed? I can’t get to work as was expecting money!

“This is appalling and so bad.” And another said: “Missing 3 child benefit payments, no one knows where the money is @TSB @HMRCcustomers!!” TSB told Birmingham Live: "We have fixed the issue with BACS payments and have now credited all customer accounts that were due to receive money into them.
"We would like to apologise to customers that were impacted by this issue." Another fumed: "Finally, took them long enough. This is why ppl are so insistent on being against a cashless system. This could happen globally and regularly if we go cashless."
"My money has finally gone in . I really hope everyone else’s has. Today has been awful with all this waiting and It knowin," wrote another. Responding to one customer, the bank said: "Thank you for connecting with TSB. I hope you are doing well. We can confirm that some payments customers expected to receive today haven't arrived in their accounts.
"We're sorry for this, our IT teams have identified a fix and this is currently being implemented. Please keep checking your account and we expect payments to be credited later this morning."
