Strikes by Tube and train workers are set cause travel chaos over the coming weeks. Passengers have been urged to check before travelling by tube in London on Wednesday because of disruption caused by a strike by members of Aslef and the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT). Disruption is also expected on the Tube network into the morning on Thursday. Members of the RMT at 14 train companies across the UKwill strike on Thursday and Saturday in the long running dispute over pay, jobs and conditions. Further train strikes are set to take place on March 30 and April 1.
