Turtle Bay confirms Chester Northgate opening date as 55 jobs up for grabs
Caribbean restaurant and bar chain Turtle Bay has announced the opening date for its long-awaited Chester Northgate venue. And the launch of the new restaurant is set to create 55 jobs.
Turtle Bay will officially open its doors on Thursday, October 24. Ahead of the launch, the chain is holding two recruitment days on September 25 and 26 at the Crowne Plaza on Trinity Street.
There is also the chance to win tickets to attend 'soft opening' sessions in the run up. The opening comes 19 months after an explosion at the unit.
Work was underway on the restaurant back in March 2023 when a gas explosion left three men injured. Phil Dukelow, regional operations director at Turtle Bay, said: “We're excited to be opening our doors this October.
"Chester has a thriving food and drink community, and we’re eager to introduce fresh talent into the Turtle Bay family. If you’re passionate about hospitality and ready to join the fun, we’d love to hear from you!"
