If you've ever wanted to go behind-the-scenes of the pre-owned luxury market, you're in luck tonight with Second Hand for 50 Grand.

The Channel 4 show takes a look at a small business selling on high-end watches and handbags and meets a few of those in search of such goods.

Over on BBC One, the Sewing Bee continues to test its competitors with Summer Week.

Jay Blades and co have a new of cherished heirlooms to restore to their former glory. 

Painting conservator Lucia Scalisi hopes to bring a historic portrait of Charles II back to life, while goldsmith Richard Talman reunites the broken pieces of an engagement ring that symbolises two grandparents’ love. 

Other items brought into the Repair Shop tonight include a special toy donkey and a wooden chest all the way from Oman.

This week at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home the presenter trains a lively beagle cross puppy and spends some time occupying a Bichon who is used to a busy home.

He also helps out with a shell shocked staffy who was left tied to the gates and gets caught up in an outbreak of parvo virus which staff try to contain.

The second episode of the documentary exploring real-life police corruption focuses on the underbelly of Soho in the second episode of the three-parter.  

Viewers are taken to the early 1970s where the large amount of pornographic bookshops in the London area provide ample opportunity for corrupt officers to take advantage of their position.

Paperbag shorts must be made for the Pattern Challenge before the sewers make a woman's outfit out of second-hand men's swimming gear in the Transformation. 

The final challenge of the day, the Made to Measure, sees them whip up button-down sun dresses.

This Channel 4 programme looks behind the curtain of the pre-owned luxury market via Xupes, a business tracking down second-hand high-end goods to sell on. 

Grant, a window cleaner, wants a Cartier watch while Rebecca is on the hunt to replace a stolen Prada bag.
