Chilling thriller The Terror is airing on BBC Two for the first time this evening. The series was received positively upon its 2018 release on AMC but now its availability on iPlayer is opening it up to a wider audience.

Gregg Wallace and John Torode host another episode of cooking competition favourite MasterChef as five amateur chefs hope to make it through to the next round.

Meanwhile, there's a new three part crime documentary on Netflix to sink your teeth into on a series of bombings with links to the Mormon community that rocked Salt Lake City in October 1985.

A new docuseries arrives on Netflix today as Murder Among the Mormons probes the 1985 bombings in Salt Lake City.

Three bomb explosions went off in the Utah city in October 1985 resulting in the deaths of two people, shocking the community.

There was more to surprise to come when Mormon artefacts were found destroyed in the car of the third victim, Mark Hofmann.

The three-part true-crime series directed by Jared Hess and Tyler Measom examines the connections between the bombings and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Craftsman Simon Parfett helps more people create quirky B&Bs as the third episode in the series sees him meet Tom and Jen who own a picturesque patch of land in Wiltshire.

They want to turn an old family caravan into a profitable short-term rental business but they are in need of the team's expert touch.

Luckily, there's plenty of people to pitch in to create impressive results.

Presenter Nigel Havers welcomes in three more sellers to the Bidding Room as five dealers compete to buy the items they've brought with them.

This items contributors are hoping to sell are an unusual musical instrument, a fairground game and a unique collection of theatre costume designs. But will they get the prices they are after?

MasterChef - 8pm - BBC One

The second episode of the 17th MasterChef series gets underway as five amateur cooks take on judges John Torode and Gregg Wallace's challenges.

The Signature Dish challenge sees two competitors make it into the next round while the remaining three tackle the Favourite Ingredient challenge as they create a dish with their component of choice at the risk of one being sent home.

They must then cook two courses to tickle the tastebuds of the judges as well as MasterChef champions Saliha Mahmoud Ahmed and Kenny Tutt.

First broadcast on AMC in the UK back in 2018, arctic thriller The Terror will begin airing on BBC Two tonight.

The 10-part series is based on Dan Simmons' 2007 novel of the same name, which is in turn based on the real events of two British Royal Naval shops that went missing in the Northwest Passage in 1848 - but with the added element of the supernatural.

The well-received horror drama stars Jared Harris, Tobias Menzies and Ciaran Hinds.
