TV presenter reacts after hint his wish to have a bus named after him could come true
A TV presenter is “playing it cool” after a bus company hinted his wish to have a bus named after him could come true.
It comes after a re-run of an old episode of Pointless showed Richard Osman, who is from Cuckfield, saying he would like a Brighton and Hove bus named after him.
A spokesman from Brighton and Hove Buses replied to the request on Twitter and invited the author to pay them a visit.

“Dear Richard Osman, we just caught this on BBCOne re-run,” they said.
“Sorry we missed you before.
“You’re officially invited to come and see us in Brighton, and we might be tempted to name a bus after you.
“Love from Brighton & Hove Buses x.”
Richard, who quit the BBC quiz show in 2022 to focus on his writing, responded to the tweet saying “Ok, ok, I need to play this cool.”
