TVD star and co-creator reunite for new TV project
It's a The Vampire Diaries reunion! The show's co-creator and executive producer Kevin Williamson has called in his former co-worker, actor Paul Wesley, for a new series.
As reported by Deadline, Wesley has nabbed a lead role in Williamson's Tell Me a Story, a psychological thriller that is coming to CBS All Access.
The show is a psychological thriller that incorporates classic fairy tales, including 'The Three Little Pigs', 'Hansel and Gretel' and 'Little Red Riding Hood'. The show will be set in modern day New York and feature plenty of murder, greed, revenge and loss.

Basically, if you've read the Fables comic book series or played the brilliant The Wolf Among Us video game, it seems quite similar to that.
Wesley will play a character called Eddie, a bartender and drug dealer who has difficulties with substance abuse.
The Originals star Danielle Campbell will play another lead character called Kayla, while Sex and the City's Kim Cattrall will play Kayla's grandmother. Black Mirror's Billy Magnussen has also been cast.
Since The Vampire Diaries wrapped up, star Nina Dobrev has also landed herself a role in a CBS show, although it looks a lot less gritty than this.
Meanwhile, TVD showrunner and creator of The Originals Julie Plec is keeping it supernatural and will direct the pilot episode of the reboot of Roswell, and will executive produce if it gets a full series.
CBS All Access has given Tell Me a Story a straight-to-series order.
