Twin 'Whirlpools' Swirl Amid Flooding in New York's Monticello

Twin “whirlpools” were spotted swirling in pooled water in Monticello, New York, on October 26, as a nor’easter storm brought heavy rain to parts of the state.

Sullivan County Government posted this footage showing the twirling water in a part of the town they said is “prone to flooding”.

The National Weather Service extended a flash flood warning that afternoon, urging the public to move immediately to higher ground.
