Twitter, Alphabet launch code for fast loading of heavy mobile content

(Reuters) - Twitter Inc and Alphabet Inc have launched an open source code that allows faster loading of content-heavy Web pages on smartphones and tablets. The code, called accelerated mobile pages (AMP), will help load content with heavy content such as video, animations and graphics faster, Twitter and Alphabet said on Wednesday.
