Rejoice: Justin Bieber Finally Shaved Off His Questionable Mustache

The collective prayers of the internet have been answered! It looks like Justin took everyone's advice, because after 40 long days of torturing us all, he finally shaved off his mustache. It's gone, y'all!

"I shaved," Justin announced on Instagram. "MUSTASHIO went on holiday, but he will be back in due time."

As you may recall, Justin used his mustache as a tool for rebellion (and promotion), much to everyone's dismay.

“For now, Justin is amused,” a source told People. “There are so many things to worry about in the world, and this is what people focus on. The more people want him to shave it off, the more he wants to keep it. It’s staying for now. It’s making him feel like a rebel and he likes it!”

People's source added that his wife, Hailey Baldwin, couldn't “stand his mustache so eventually it will come off.” Welp, Hailey clearly won this battle.

Justin Bieber is no stranger to questionable decisions. Remember when he dyed his hair pink? A bold choice if I ever saw one! Oh, and those lavender diamond-encrusted grills he bought before his wedding with Hailey Baldwin? Interesting choice indeed! And since Justin seems to like making his millions of fans collectively spiral, he made them all flip out yet again because he is choosing to keep—wait for it—a furry lil mustache on his upper lip.

The first time Justin’s ’stache made an appearance was earlier this month on January 9 when he teased a video his friends made for his latest single, “Yummy.”

Fans thought they could escape the wrath of Justin’s mustache after that, but alas—they could not. Justin’s been posting pictures of him and his mustache/Justache like there’s no tomorrow, much to everyone’s dismay. Here Justin is again with the Justache in a promotional poster for his upcoming YouTube docuseries:

The Justache made yet another appearance during a movie night with Hailey, who looks less than thrilled that the Justache is taking up space/not paying rent on Justin’s face:

But after he posted not one but THREE pictures of himself with fuzz on his upper lip yesterday, fans decided that was the final straw.

Beliebers began to riot and called for a shave. For the most part, everyone seems pretty against it. But hey, it’s Justin’s face and he can do whatever TF he wants to it (whether we like it or not)!

Welp, now that Justin’s mustache is here to stay, I will be saying a silent prayer for Hailey so she doesn’t get whisker burn.
