Twitter UK HQ stands with shutters drawn as Elon Musk begins mass sackings

The UK's headquarter of Twitter on London's 20 Air Street stood with blinds drawn yesterday November 4 (Friday, 4 November) amid mass layoffs by its new owner Elon Musk. Reportedly Friday became the last working day for half of its 8,000 staff. Employees around the world were asked to stay at home on Friday as the global platform closed its offices. Those sacked by the company will receive compensation and benefits through 2 February 2023.
