Britain's Got Talent's first live semi-final of the week is done and dusted and we now have our first two lucky acts going through to the final show.

15-year-old singer Kyle Tomlinson and mind-reading duo DNA both secured their places tonight (May 29) after earning the most votes from viewers, with Miss Treat Vibe narrowly missing out on a place in the final.

Winners of the heat, DNA told Stephen Mulhern on Britain's Got More Talent that they were "elated" to have made it through.

"We're absolutely elated, it couldn't have gone better," they said.

"We worked hard, what an amazing audience, the judges have been amazing."

Tonight's show didn't go as smoothly as it could have with the opening act St Patrick's Choir having technical difficulties at the beginning of their performance.

Not only that, but group winners DNA almost had an issue with their performance thanks to Simon Cowell.

He really struggled with finding the correct page in the dictionary for the act's big finale moment, but luckily Amanda Holden was on hand to help.

Britain's Got Talent returns tomorrow (May 30) for the second live semi-final. The line-up is as follows:

  • Destiny Chukunyere

  • Matt Edwards

  • Harry Gardner

  • Issy Simpson

  • Dizzy Twilight

  • Leah Barniville

  • Grace & Ali

  • Taptastik

The second semi-final will air on ITV at 7.30pm.
