Two arrested after man seen 'covered in blood' leaving house

Two men have been arrested after a man was seen "covered in blood" in Kirkby. Emergency services were called to Mintor Road at around 4.25pm on Friday, January 24, following reports of a disturbance.

Two men are believed to have suffered non-life threatening injuries, police said. One suffered a head injury and the other had an injury to his back. Two men have been arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

A witness at the scene reported seeing a man "covered in blood" as he left the property on Mintor Road. Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing, police said.
