Two arrests after police raid homes in quiet village after reports of Class A drug dealing
Two men have been arrested after raids on two homes in a quiet Hartlepool village.
The pair, aged 36 and 43, are currently in custody awaiting questioning on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs. This follows drugs warrants being executed at two separate addresses in Greatham High Street on Monday morning.
A picture from the scene shows a fleet of five Cleveland Police vehicles marking the fronts of the properties - one a mid-terrace and the other an end-terrace.

A Cleveland Police spokeswoman said: "We took action after receiving information on alleged drug dealing from the properties. Enquiries are on-going. If you suspect drug dealing in your neighbourhood you can report to Cleveland Police at any time online via our website or by phoning 101."
If you don’t want to speak to police you can pass information anonymously to independent charity www.crimestoppers-uk.org or phone them on 0800 555 111.
