Two drivers killed in Shepperton 'multiple vehicle' crash

Two people were killed in a Surrey road that led to multiple road closures being put in place for much of the day on Monday (January 27). Police were called to Shepperton Road (B376) at just after 7am.

Surrey Police said it followed reports of a collision involving "multiple vehicles". The drivers of two of the cars involved were pronounced dead at the scene. Police said their next of kin have been informed.

Road closures were put in place at the roundabout for Shepperton Road and Directors Way, and Laleham Road at the junction with Shepperton Road and Littleton Lane.

Police said: "We would like to thank motorists for their patience while we dealt with the incident alongside our emergency services colleagues.

"We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision, or with any dashcam footage or any other information, to contact us quoting 0094 of today’s date (27/01/2025)."

As of 5.45pm, a stretch of Shepperton Road between Littleton Lane and Directors Way remained closed while crash investigation work continued at the scene.
