Two fire engines, police and paramedics sent to smash as Cheshire road shut
Two fire engines alongside police and paramedics were scrambled to a smash which left a road shut. And firefighters had to force the door of one vehicle open to help get the casualty out at the scene of the collision in Hassall.
Emergency services were called out to Roughwood Lane just after 5.25pm on September 26. Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service say two engines from Crewe were sent to the scene.
A spokesperson said: "Fire crews attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision. Firefighters forced one of the vehicle's doors open to free a casualty who was then handed over to the care of paramedics."
A spokeswoman for Cheshire Police said: "Police were called to a two vehicle collision on Roughwood Lane in Hassall.
"Both vehicles were recovered from the roadside and injuries are thought to be minor."
