Two in hospital after A38 vintage car crash

Two men were taken to hospital following a crash involving a green Austin-Healey near Newton Abbot. Investigating officers from Devon and Cornwall Police are appealing for information after the crash on the A38.

Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway at around 6pm yesterday (Sunday, June 2). The passenger of the car, aged in his 70s, suffered serious injuries while the driver, also aged in his 70s, sustained minor injuries.

The A38 was closed for around four hours following the collision. Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to come forward.
